In July 2007, Shane Dickens and Zach Wright, owners of Overdrive Audio in Jacksonville, Florida, decided to refashion their business into a top-notch custom shop. Frustrated that there were no local options for high-end installs, they broke away from the franchise group they had been a part of and started assembling a team of skilled installers. Today, Overdrive Audio is a top dealer in the Southeast and does everything from $200 head unit installs to $100,000 plus full-blown customs.
