TeleNav Sub Giveaway!

I know a lot of people who think about getting a PND but still haven't; and I know even more people who lust for a new double-DIN nav/source unit but don't want to spend the money. But I don't know anyone that wants a smart phone that passes on it for themselves. Even in a bad economy people are buying Blackberrys and iPhones and the rest for their personal (and not solely business) use. Which makes it smart indeed for companies like TeleNav to offer a service for the phone that provides turn-by-turn navigation with voice guidance. TeleNav actually functions pretty much as your portable nav would. It even provides traffic info. It has quite a few features already built-in that you might find on other types of nav devices that require another fee. Plus TeleNav updates your maps and POIs automatically and provides information such as where to get the cheapest gas. And it's on a device that most of us always have on us. I'm basically glued to mine. Recently I got the Blackberry Curve with TeleNav GPS Navigator version 5.1 and I'll be writing my evaluation on it later in the week. But first we want to get to the fun stuff. TeleNav is going to offer free subscriptions to several of our readers, one per month for the next several months. All you have to do is answer these ridiculously easy questions. Email your responses to us here at info@motormusicmag.com and you can get TeleNav for free. If you want to check on your phone's compatibility with TeleNav, go to this link. So once you answer the questions correctly, and make sure your phone is compatible, then all TeleNav needs is your phone model, carrier and number and they'll provide a free subscription to their service. You'll be able to get around town without having to carry a separate portable nav device or printing directions from online. Here are the questions: 1. What does GPS stand for? 2. What two main companies supply the map data? 3. What does POI stand for? Email your answers to info@motormusicmag.com. |
