I liked the previous version of the detachable navigation unit that Eclipse collaborated on with TomTom, but it had some issues that made you think it wasn’t quite ready for primtime. The AVN4430 is clearly a better execution of a great concept.

This isn't the sexiest product, but it's incredibly useful. The CL-RLC functions as a subwoofer level control for any JL Audio amp or for the CL441dsp! Unlike the RBC-1, which is an EQ boost controller, this is a true level control. Moreover, you can use it as an iPod solution. Connect an iPod on one end and the other to your amp. If you have, for example, a classic vehicle that you don’t want to install a new-fangled radio into, the RLC serves as a substitute source unit. It features differential balanced inputs and a buffered pass-through connection so that you can also pass signal along (without volume control) to a satellite amplifier from the same input channels.

AND BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE! These all-time great subwoofers from JL Audio, Rockford Fosgate, Image Dynamics and Digital Designs can rock the block and play your music faithfully. They may not be new products, but then you don't always need new, you just need it to sound right.

Boom and accurate musical reproduction. When it comes to subs, like Realm Audio’s LFT12-D4, the two characteristics aren’t mutually exclusive. The relatively new company, launched in 2007, decided to limit the quantity of their products to focus on quality. The goal: accurate reproduction with plenty of boom factor as well.
